Module 3
Module 3 explores the profound synergy between tangible physical behavior and digital manifestation within the framework of "Living Systems." By utilizing Makey Makey as a bridge, we translate real-world interactions—such as touch, movement, and vocal resonance—into the narrative language of virtual ecosystems. This interaction logic transcends simple hardware mapping; it is an injection of embodied experience into the digital lifecycle, achieving a seamless transition from physical action to virtual expression. In this module, code acts as a vessel for ritual, allowing users to co-create an immersive narrative of growth, memory, and reincarnation through their tactile engagement with physical objects.
Project 3
Final Project 3 Design
This project utilizes Makey Makey to establish a seamless bridge between tangible physical behavior and virtual expression, transforming real-world objects into ritualistic tools for a digital narrative. Inspired by the surrealist "Rusty Lake" aesthetic, the system maps human actions—such as planting, watering, and chanting—onto a multi-stage simulation of reincarnation. By integrating conductive props and voice recognition into a sophisticated state machine, the project transcends standard input methods, allowing users to witness a biological cycle where physical presence and touch directly manifest as supernatural growth within a digital landscape.
